How to make it

  1. Select 3D and write one compact headline.
  2. Choose a font and a text color that contrasts with the background.
  3. Check line wrapping, outer margins and the gentle motion over the full loop.
  4. Generate for 2 credits, then save and test the GIF.

Examples you can customize

SALE

Large bold letters leave room for a visible depth layer.

BIG NEWS

A short announcement works well in a square composition.

LET’S GO

Rounded lettering gives a dimensional reaction a softer tone.

Give your words visible depth

A 3D text GIF adds dimension to a headline by placing offset layers behind the face of each letter. The preset also moves the lettering gently through the loop. It is useful for bold promotional words, decorative titles and short announcements that need more visual weight. This version uses a layered graphic effect rather than a fully modeled 3D scene. There is no camera rotation, imported mesh or physically simulated material. That keeps the text predictable: the letters still come from the selected font and preserve the words you enter.

Choose a font with enough room for depth

Bold lettering provides a broad front surface and a clear silhouette, making the depth easier to see. A rounded font gives the shape a softer character, while a serif face can create a more editorial word-art treatment. Keep the phrase short so the offset layers do not crowd the frame. If letters wrap across several lines, inspect the space between those lines as well as the left and right margins. The depth should support the message rather than merge neighboring characters into a single shape.

Build contrast between the letter face and background

The main text color controls the face of the letters, while the preset adds a darker depth layer. Bright yellow or pale blue on a dark background gives a strong promotional feel. Dark blue on a light background is more restrained. Try the color at the final display size, because a depth effect that looks obvious in a large editor can become a small shadow in a thumbnail. You can use a transparent background for an overlay, but the edges are limited by GIF’s binary transparency.

Use dimensional text for a single clear idea

SALE, BIG NEWS and LET’S GO are examples of compact phrases that leave room for the effect. A whole product description is usually too much for one animated headline. Put the details in the surrounding page or social caption, and let the GIF carry the main announcement. If you need several decorative font treatments, visit Word Art GIF to compare styles by purpose. If you want an atmospheric light effect rather than visible depth, Neon Text GIF offers a different way to emphasize the same message.

Check the motion and the outer edges

The 3D preset uses a gentle vertical movement, not a full spin. Watch the beginning and end of the loop to make sure the phrase feels settled and remains inside the frame. Square, landscape and portrait layouts have different available widths, so a title that fits well on one may wrap on another. Select two, three or five seconds for the loop. A slower duration gives the motion a quieter feel. The output is a GIF image; it does not contain editable 3D layers or a model that can be opened in a modeling application.

Download an exact-font result

The renderer turns font glyphs into frames and combines them into an animated GIF. It does not invent letters, rewrite your slogan or generate a different spelling from an image prompt. Check the words, color and dimensions in the preview, then generate with two credits. Unsupported characters are rejected before billing. Your account’s one-time welcome balance covers one export across all tools. Keep the downloaded file as the final artwork, and test it in the platform where the dimensional headline will be used.

Frequently asked questions

Is this true 3D rendering?

The current effect is layered dimensional lettering with gentle motion. It does not provide a 3D scene, camera controls or model export.

Can I rotate the text through 360 degrees?

Not in this preset. It uses a small vertical movement while keeping the front of the lettering readable.

Can I choose chrome or gold materials?

You can choose a flat face color. Physically reflective chrome, gold and texture uploads are not available in the live maker.

Will the text remain spelled correctly?

Supported characters use the selected font, preserving your input. The tool does not proofread typos, so review the wording before exporting.

Can I make transparent 3D text?

Yes. Enable Transparent background and inspect the downloaded edges on the intended design. GIF cannot preserve smooth partial alpha.

Is 3D included in the welcome credits?

Yes. One successful 3D text GIF costs 2 credits, the same as the other effects.
